The Glocknerhof and its surrounding areas are compromised of over 100,000 m2, including two hotels, a farm house with animals, a holiday and bio-house, a healing mud tread bath and an old mill. The outer facilities include beautiful vegetable and fruit gardens, an outdoor pool with a water slide for children, a tennis facility with three courts, a large children’s playground as well as plenty of space to relax and lie in the sun. There is of course plenty of room for cars as well.
The hotel facility is 500 m outside of the village and offers its guests 80 comfort rooms or suites, lounges elegantly furnished with antiques, a wonderful indoor pool facility with an attached “health-temple,” two large seminar rooms, bowling lanes, top-line restaurant, dining rooms, winter gardens, several terraces and a view that is singular to Carinthia. Every room has a balcony, of course a bath/WC, radio, telephone and 40'' LED TVs – always tip-top on the latest level. We offer Internet of course.
We’re especially proud of the Glocknerhof kitchen. It is a daily joy. Whether its nouvelle-cuisine or hearty delicacies, from Tafelspitz to gala dinner, a hearty barbeque evening to a tasty farmer’s buffet. Sweet joys for you palate as well as dreams of ice cream and sweet cake indulgences draw you in.
We’ll also take care of all the thirsty throats out there: With fresh, ice-cooled mixed drinks, the famous 17-herb schnapps from our own distillery, chilled beer, a selection of wines from domestic lands … really everything for spoiled guests - all the way up to ice specialties.
Already in the morning at breakfast a daily menu overview awaits you. Additionally you can of course make selections a-la-carte. You can choose between bed and breakfast and half-board.
